A monumental event occured on Oct.10th in Oakland,CA. The HOOD GAMES was held at the opening of the city's first skateboard park. Ramps and equipment were donated by The X-GAMES to the city of Oakland for a ground breaking new residence for Bay Area skaters. DOUG SOLLARS of RICH KID ACADEMY / CLOUD 9 Skate Board Team ripped the event apart with co-pilots DR.B,MAC DAMON,and Egor of R.K.A. CLOUD 9 Skate Boards,NIKE SB,Warheads,and The X GAMES were just some of the sponsors in this multi-layered event. BREAK DANCING and GRAFFITI contests were also held.
